About Me
Following his artistic studies, Steven Jan has been graduated from the cinema school 3IS in movie making. At the end of his 3rd year, he writes and directs the short movie “The tragedy of the man without a name” (with Lionel Auguste and Astrid Roos). Soon after, he leaves Paris for China. Arrived at Shenzhen, he works for several small companies where he learns photography in addition to video. In 2016, he is an artistic director for the design company EMIE where he is also in charge of the photos and videos advertisements. In 2017, he co-writes with Arthur Molârd and Teddy Jacquier the fantasy horror short movie “Scaramouche, Scaramouche” which received the public and jury prize at the PIFF festival in Paris and continues right now to travel across the world in several other festivals. Since January 2018, he joined the video department of DJI as director and collaborated with Yann Arthus-Bertrand for a mini-documentary on the shooting set of his new movie “Woman”.
