Stop Motion

“Nevo” needed a tutorial video for its Parisienne smartwatch, and tutorial video can be a bit boring to do and to watch. I thought that stop-motion would make it more entertaining. I wanted to preserve the handcrafted spirit, written with real pens and cut with real scissors to give a feeling of imperfection. This is how I spent the whole week in a dark room with a ton of pieces of paper to achieve this small animation video (after several nights without sleeping it’s an idea that I regretted … but I will obviously do it again because it’s still a lot of fun). The last touch was brought by my sound designer, who was kind enough to create all the sounds with his own mouth.
