One! Two! Three! Click! Clack!

My first product intro for DJI. I tried again, with more or less success, to oblige myself some new constraints, as well as getting around the basic product intro rules (which are a bit too well established at DJI). The voice-over will be replaced by graphic animations. I will start with a small story intro instead of presenting the product directly. The half-day/half-night structure will allow me to have a break for the viewers in this huge amount of information. And finally, my camera movements should help to explain the product characteristic. The main point of all this was to be more visual, in order to avoid the long list of features presentation. I didn’t want the characters just standing there, everything should be dynamic, I thought it would represent the spirit of the Osmo Mobile better. Scott Pilgrim vs the World was obviously a big inspiration for this video. First, because it’s one of the coolest movie done these past few years and second, it helped me to communicate some functionalities only through images, at least I hope I did, like how the main button and the trigger work by using the “one, two, three” animation.
