The Tello Concerto

For their new version of their Tello drone: the Tello EDU, Ryze wanted a video more youth-oriented. The Tello EDU is a drone capable of being controlled by a coding app and the point of this commercial was to make believe that coding is fun (I mean … more fun than it already is). To accomplish that, I came back with an old idea I had from a non-achieved project: to make match the keyboard touches to a piece of piano music. That’s something I wanted to try for a while maybe because I was looking repetitively the episode “The Cat Concerto” from Tom & Jerry when I was young … and still a bit now … that might explain the strong cartoonish feeling in the final result.
