Just before leaving China to come back to France, I wanted to visit two main places I hadn’t had the time to go for the past seven years. One was the capital: Beijing (completely empty due to a certain virus) and the other one was Yunnan province, in the south-west of China. We started from Dali to slowly move up north to reach Shangri-La. From there, after 2 days of travel by bus and by car, we finally arrived at Yubeng. A village well known from the hikers, with a wonderful panorama, that is only accessible on foot or with the help of a 4×4 on a perilous mountain road.
